Harps and Flutes in a beautiful garden

The next outing for the Cherubim musicians is as part of the Semley Summer Music Festival at Semley Grange.


Cherubim Young Musician Zoe McNamee R Is joined by her harpist sister Maria L and flautist Isabelle Ashton in A Concert with Wings in the sumptuous gardens of Semley Grange, featuring flute and harp music Delibes, Saint-Saëns & Piazzolla, at 1830 Thursday 12 August.



There are 4 days of delightful music-making. On Friday 13 at 1830 Iuno (solo photo, pl supply Ros) & Ambrose Connolly sing an Evening of popular 20th Century duets and solos from G&S to Rodgers & Hammerstein with Jacobo Ochoa. And on Saturday 14 they perform songs by Handel, Mozart, Haydn and Gluck.


On Sunday afternoon at 1430 another Cherubim Young Musician, flautist Octavia Lamb (photo, pl supply Ros) leads her Eos flutes in a family-friendly program that includes Gershwin’s Summertime, Mozart‘a Magic Flute Quartets, and a dazzling Fantasy on Carmen.
