Violin – JC Kloz 1752, ‘Keith Dale’ with baroque & classical bows

A remarkable and authenticated example of the work of the Mittenwald maker Joan Carol Kloz dated to 1756. It was bought at auction in 2017 with a bequest by Carole Dale in memory of her husband Keith. She generously also provided an endowment to purchase a baroque and an early classical bow by the young Dutch-Israeli luthier Eitan Hoffer.

Cherubim is especially grateful to the luthier-curator Eckhard Kropfreiter for his assistance with this purchase.
