Harp - Salvi Aurora. 'Promenaders - Charles Steer'

There was a particular resonance in acquiring the Salvi Aurora harp in 2012, a decade after the Trust was founded. Funding came from two sources, the Promenaders’ Charities, and donations in memory of Charles Steer, grandfather of the harpist Serafina Steer.

The instrument has been awarded to three young performers. Hear a performance by Heather Brooks, its current awardee.

And now Cherubim Music Trust is holding a competition for the loan of their two concert harps to harpists aged 15-25. Go to Harp Competition for more details.
