About the Event

Join Sehyogue Aulakh and colleagues from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire for an exciting day of drumming. We’ll be looking at a range of music from Brazilian samba to African djembe and body percussion! 

The Afternoon (for 12 upwards) looks at the core rhythms of Brazilian samba and Ghanaian music and sound production on the drums; as well as exercises in the art of listening.
