Zsuzsa Va'mosi-Nagy – Flute

Zsuzsa graduated Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, Budapest 2006 after studying with Lorant Kovacs. She is currently studying at the RAM with Professor William Bennett OBE for a post-graduate diploma.

Her prizes include the 2002 Summer Academy, Semmering, Austria, 2nd prize in the 2003 International Flute Competition. Bukarest, 1st Prize at the 11th International Flute competition Timisoara, Rumania, 2006. Zsuzsa has given many solo and chamber music recitals in England and Hungary.

Professor Bennett says, "Szuzsa is an exceptionally gifted and talented houng Hungarian student who urgently needs a proper flute. She has been struggling along with an old Sankyo, (normally forbidden in my classes) held hogether with putty in order to improve the pitch of this frightful machine. She has found the Payne & Howell at a very good price, which was actually made by Albert Cooper, the greatest flute maker of this century."
