HOW TO APPLY
Cherubim exists to give talented young musicians access to instrumenta that match their performance needs. If you meet the following criteria we warmly welcome an application to be included in our portfolio of candidates which is circulated twice a year to potential donors.
We do our best to ensure that a suitable instrument is provided where funding is made available. Cherubim itself does not make a qualitative assessment of applicants' abilities. We act principally as a broker by presenting a portfolio to donors and institutions. Donors' funding decisions are largely their own. It is therefore in applicants' interest to make as attractive and convincing a presentation as they can.
Once a donation is agreed, Cherubim acquires the instrument and then loans it under contract to the awardee, normally for a period of 5 years .
Applicants should be aged between 14-24, resident or intending to study in the UK, supported by a recognised teacher.
Terms & conditions apply to loans. In particular, Cherubim instruments may not be taken out of the UK except with the written permission of the Trust. For full details see PDF download.
Cherubim does not loan electronic equipment.
